New Poetry Wednesday: Ammunition

Ammunition

evolution ammunition
know not the blue skies
when they crumble under froth
piano keys for the taking
when melodies stop conversing
With harmonies in revenge
long held vendettas
lover ammunition
stood by knees
broken under boulders
slid down by stares burdened
little bones to cast
see the future by dying skies
overwhelmed in smoke
embers caressing the sun
trying to make it home
belong to space rather than earth
stars be cousins in disguise
know not the twilight skies
when eyes die blind
