In My Skirts
Hid the sun inside my skirts
Curious to see if anyone noticed
Noticed it was me
Noticed the sun had disappeared
Hid the sun inside my skirts
Change did not come nor was
There notice to my transgression
The sky was over
Hid the sun inside my skirts
No one looked up or around
To seek, to find what had
Disappeared
To noticed the moon had fled
In its sadness
Hid the sun inside my skirts
Gain not knowledge or acknowledgement
Only left to return it to the sky
So I could once more embrace
Embrace the moon in all her sorrow
