New Poetry Wednesday: Crippled

Crippled

Stained the white
With my blood
Cried so much
When it was decided
Your intentions were impure
Never would you come to me
Crippled me
My blood poured down arms
Wrapped around my torso
To hold me up
Fell so far
Fell so fast
I had nothing to grasp
Wanted to grasp at you
Your hands too far from my own
Crippled me in my tears
They dance red down cheeks
Flushed from rage
Brushed against solid floor
Fell so far
Fell so fast
Nothing to grasp
You are too distant to notice
That I was waiting
In white roses
