New Poetry Wednesday – Passport

Passport

Inside passport pages
I hid tiny written secrets
Just for you in fine scriptUndertakers Cover
Come along and find out
Sacred passages traveling
From place to place
With each little stamp
Further concealing
Secrets between the lines
Locked in margins
Closer we get to you
Farther you seem to be
So I continue to lay ink
Out in my passport
Hoping it find a means
To get your hands
Read it gently
Read it slowly
Savoring every swirl
Of ink in delicate hand
Marked across only to you
My prayers to your glory
