Today is the start of Camp NaNoWriMo and NaPoWriMo. I started off with two poems for Kirsch & Kerosene shortly after midnight. Today’s NaPoWriMo post is Convergence, the first poem written.
And, in honor of National Poetry Month, I will be giving away free Kindle books of Smoke & Spirit, Flare & Fetter, and Little Lines I Shared with Death from April 1st to April 5th. The paperback version of Flare & Fetter is still on sale for $9.99.
The day’s word count started out slowly, and did not make it to the suggested word count. I did not have as much time to write as I will later in the month. Between daily chores, weekly chores, and a few other tasks, it was challenging to carve out writing time that I was awake enough to utilize. I do not typically make it to 50,000 during Camp NaNoWriMo as it is not quite as inspiring as the original NaNoWriMo.
Today’s final counts are:
3 poems for Kirsch & Kerosene
0 poems for Obiter & Oleander
0 pieces for Novels in verse
1 NaPoWriMo Post
1 Camp NaNoWriMo/Free Books Post
