Camp NaNoWriMo April 2013 – Day 23

Today is brought to you by scattered productivity. I have been extremely productive today but the projects are numerous.

I baked whole wheat bread, made a whole wheat chocolate cake with honey frosting, started a pot roast, did some housework, wrote three poems, wrote the intros for The Cupcake Verses and Asana Stories, cleaned up the previously written intro for Simplicity Reveries, wrote a couple content pages for The Cupcake Verses and Simplicity Reveries, worked up a blog posting schedule (to start in May), reorganized parts of my desk, tested the smoke detector (and freaked myself out with the shocking volume of the siren), and accomplished my usual daily exercise routine.

Surprisingly, I do not feel that great today. I felt better yesterday morning but then I ate something that did not agree with me leading to today’s suffering. I suppose I am just tired of feeling so unproductive. There’s a high chance that I will pay for today’s productivity tomorrow but must be optimistic that I am on the mend.

Fortunately, I did not have to shovel the 6+ inches of snow that fell yesterday and this morning. The snow stopped around 10am and all of it was melted by 1:30pm. While not a fan of snow any time of the year, I do love Spring snow because I rarely have to shovel it.

As I type this post, I am hoping for a fourth poem to come wandering through very soon so both poetry books can end today at 60/100. Not having any luck so far.

Today’s NaPoWriMo post is Malnourished, a piece for Kirsch & Kerosene.

Cannot spend too much more time at the computer today as I have a book I would like to finish reading then I need to get the path from my bedroom and the guest room opened up – if I have any energy remaining – so I can move the box spring and remaining bed frame pieces to the guest room. I am tired of the items cluttering up the master bedroom and of Anubis using the box spring as a scratching post/climbing tree.

Part of me is screaming, “Nap Time! Nap Time!” but I am trying to ignore it in favor of an early bedtime.

And I am done. No second poem for Kirsch & Kerosene.

Today’s final counts are:
1 poem for Kirsch & Kerosene
2 poems for Obiter & Oleander
0 pieces for novels in verse
Content for Blog Segments
Some Free Writing
2453 total words
1 NaPoWriMo Post
1 Camp NaNoWriMo Post
Camp NaNo Word Count: 14,744/25,000
