There has been a lot of craziness the past week and a half with Thanksgiving and preparations for my nephew’s arrival. T decided to grace us with his presence at 10:48pm on December 2, 2013, at 7lbs 8 ounces & 20 inches long, after a rather quick labor and delivery process. My sister started having contractions about noon and her water broke around 5:45pm. Considering that this was her first pregnancy, all are surprised how quickly things progressed.
My sister, brother-in-law, and nephew arrived home today from the hospital.
T, sadly, has inherited the odd toes my sister, our father, our father’s mother, and I all have. (We can pick up stuff with our toes – it freaks people out but can be very useful.) He also has his mother’s Mediterranean coloring and his father’s detached earlobes. He’s fairly relaxed for a baby thus far. T only cries if you move him around or when he’s starving. He has a very hearty appetite so feeding happens every hour or so.
I am certain there will be more T anecdotes and pictures to come.
