Poetry Wednesday – Sphinx

Sphinx

Where we die in tryst
Traded by foreign Kings
All words I keep
Between Sphinx paws
Where we lie in tryst
A bone to be picked
An endless maw overhead
Our world pasts ahead
Traded by foreign Kings
Something that is all dismay
With our surprise alibis
Between Sphinx paws
Where we die in tryst
