Face First into the Numb

When I last posted on February 1st, I had not realized I was slowly sliding face first into a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome flare-up from which I am still recovering. Recovery normally takes a long time to begin with but a cold and a recent Interstitial Cystitis flare-up has made it take much longer.

I haven’t felt very human lately, only felt bone-numbing exhaustion and pain. I knew I was on the mend Tuesday night when I wrote a poem for Glyph & Grey. The first poem in a long time – sort of feels like forever.

Despite my current limited functionality, I am optimistically looking forward to NaPoWriMo and Camp NaNoWriMo next month.

Also remain optimistic I can get more poems written this month along with work on a few crafting projects, and resume the decluttering & organizing process I started in January.

Best intentions are limping along but better than being stagnant.
