Goes the Winter
There goes the winter
With all warmth of him
Leave me cold to wander
Rains threatening death by
River drown should I stumble
Closer than I ever dared
Reluctant to see my future
Just below rapidly moving surface
Fitting tombstone for winter
Saturate frail dream so frail
There goes the winter
As all things I held under
Cracking fists slumbered by
All warmth of him foolishly
Claim it for my own
