I recently completed a series of bead mosaics with the theme of the twelve astrological signs. Today marks the start of the Zodiac sign, Leo. Happy Birthday Leos! This bead mosaic was designed for you.
It incorporates orange in homage to the fire of this sign with hints of red and gold to further the fire theme. Gold is also Leo’s metal of choice. The 5 inch by 3 inch by 3/4 inch wood box is painted with orange acrylic then sealed with an acrylic overlay. The design consists of assorted glass beads, gold filigrees, foil-wrapped acrylic beads, and a nickel-free pewter charm.
