NaPoWriMo Day 30 – Lost Rain

Lost Rain

Lost in rain I do travel
Translations never suited me
Configured wrong from
Starting lines left to flow
On wind gusts high
Soaked to bones wounded
Bruised and broken
Yet refuse to be in vain
Stuck in mired tesseract
Mud did invade under cover
Of night across my lands
Foreign and undiscovered
Like I intended but
Denied a choice leaving
Me to be nothing other than
Lost in rain

NaPoWriMo Day 29 – Sirens’ Songs

Sirens’ Songs

Sedatives do not silence
These Sirens fighting over me
Keep me from obscurity
My innocent soul paralyzed
By the white seas I cut through
With my falling tears
Sirens’ songs do encourage
Their descent down my face
Corpse paint so beautiful
Red, black, white, and tear-filled
All for the knives in my back
Once thought of as claws
Until the Sirens moved
To fight away from the waves
My ichor sea ever-expanding
With every word they sing

NaPoWriMo Day 28 – The Crown

The Crown

Bring the crown around
Whispers of another age
Passed us by in a blink
Lights do poison our breed
Cold in their perfection
Forcing the crown around
Necks broken as glass
Where time has lost meaning
Light of our lives buried
Into mistaken identities
Gems upon the crown around
Whispering of another age
Passed us over into night
Lights do destroy our breed
On bended knees with
Shattered kneecaps pained
Bring the crown around
To a noose above heads bent

NaPoWriMo Day 27 – Mask Cordial

Mask Cordial

Benediction cannot spare
Horrors of this wasteland
Brought by the corpse
Consuming heart and mind
His course through seas
Marred by grief-filled blood
A war we birthed in rage
This wasteland aftermath
Passions dare not speak of
Cross the fingers in hope
Hope the wasteland fades
From evocation, verity
A futile benediction
Cannot spare, spare us
Horrors of this wasteland
Brought by the corpse
Sidling beneath anticipation
Camouflaged behind a cordial
Mask welcoming all happily
Into his deceptive seas
